The Principle of Obedience - True Disciples Obey Christ (Part 3)

What does it mean to pursue Christ? What does making Him Lord of all mean? How do we give Him that place of preeminence He deserves in our hearts? Those questions will be answered throughout this series.

We have already considered the principles of exalting, loving, and following Christ. Now we will consider The Principle of Obeying Christ. If we are going to pursue Jesus, then it is imperative that we obey Him, not only in the areas where we are comfortable doing so, but also in the areas where we are stretched.

In part 3 of The Principle of Obedience, Dr. Gonzalez discusses the result of obedience: fruit. A true disciple obeys Christ. A true disciple doesn’t just hear what He says, he does what Christ tells him to do or not to do.
